In the 20th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Unveils a Vision of Waterways to Transform Bharat!
To establish National waterways, we do not need great wealth. We only need unity of mind. If we are united, we can create waterways. Tamil Nadu is already setting an example in this direction. I extend my wishes for the long life and success of the Tamil Nadu Government and the Chief Minister. Tamil Nadu is shining as a beacon of hope for all of India. By connecting waterways, Tamil Nadu can achieve economic growth and reduce rising temperatures. As the benefits become visible, the idea can spread across India. If waterways are linked throughout the country, India will witness a major transformation.
Therefore, the Central Government should carefully consider this proposal and take practical steps toward its implementation. If it does, this vision can certainly become a reality.
My dear friends, are you ready to make this happen? If each one of us contributes according to our ability, through physical effort or financial support we can make a difference. Even if every person offers just one day of labor, India can harness the immense power of its people. This human strength is one of the greatest resources in the world, yet it has not been fully utilized.
The people of India possess physical strength, mental strength, and intellectual ability. Today, Indians across the world are helping many nations prosper through their knowledge and skills. If India acts with determination, it will surely move forward on the path of success.
For this purpose, Professor and Engineer A. C. Kamaraj has designed an excellent plan. May he prosper, and may his project succeed. Can we do something to support this project? Can we offer a day of physical labor? Can we contribute financially? Whether one gives a single rupee or a crore rupees, it is an act of service. If we sincerely wish for the project to be completed, it can certainly be achieved. At present, more than money or labor, we need a united intention. If each of you prays every day for the creation of waterways, that itself is enough. As these wishes spread across India, the Central Government will surely take steps toward this effort. March 21 is World Forest Day, and March 22 is World Water Day. Guru has envisioned doing something meaningful on World Water Day. Likewise, April 22 is Earth Day. On these important days, we must bring about a significant change. The Guru is preparing a plan for this purpose. Velvi is still continuing and will go on for three more days. Until the Tamil New Year arrives, we will continue to gather with the aim that the lives of Tamils prosper and that, through Tamil Nadu, India prospers as well. We will certainly build the waterways.
