In the 20th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Explains the Origin of Creation, the Primordial sound OM and predictions by Mayan Calendar.
In the beginning, the Supreme Reality, Brahman, existed by itself. There was no creation, no Universe , and no individual forms. When this primordial consciousness awakened from its state of stillness, it experienced its own bliss. From that bliss arose the sacred vibration OM. This vibration spread throughout existence and became the cosmic sound that fills the entire Universe.
The Pranava Light of Om transformed into the Supreme Divine Light, and from this Divine Light all worlds emerged. Before light came sound, before sound came thought, and thought itself was the primordial source. This original essence exists within every form of creation.
At its core, this primordial essence is pure love, pure knowledge, and pure energy. It contains the power of attraction, dynamic force, and creative intelligence. Because of these qualities, it possesses the powers of creation, preservation, and transformation. What first existed as the Supreme Atom gradually manifested as subtle particles, atoms, the five elements, and eventually the entire Universe. This primal reality is present everywhere. There is no place where it does not exist. Those who truly understand the meaning of Om realize that Om pervades all existence. When one experiences Om within oneself, nothing remains separate from it.
Gurumahan explains that the Pranava vibration forms the foundation of creation. He refers to ancient traditions that describe Tamil as one of humanity’s most ancient languages and states that the Pranava wisdom is deeply connected to this sacred heritage.
Drawing upon the calculations and insights of the ancient sage and master architect Mayan, Gurumahan explains that changes occurring in the heavens are reflected on Earth. The same divine principle that exists in the cosmos also exists within every living being. This primordial essence is the source, the foundation, and the fullness of all existence.
Gurumahan further explains that humanity is living in a time of increasing environmental and planetary changes. Ancient calculations have suggested the possibility of significant Earth changes during certain cosmic periods. These changes could manifest in different ways and may even include major shifts in the Earth's systems.
Therefore, the Velvi is performed with a noble purpose to invoke positive transformation, protect the world from destructive outcomes, and ensure the well-being of all living beings. Through Velvi, Gurumahan seeks to promote harmony, peace, and a better future for the entire world.
