In the 13th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan says, Love is the Only Force that Can Unite Humanity, Elevate Thought into Transformative Power, Protect Generations, and Manifest a Divine World of Peace and Dharma.
How can we unite humanity? Give love to as many people as you can in this vast world. From 6 am to 10 pm everyday you have time, reflect on how many hearts you can touch with love. Should we offer love only to a small group, or should everyone receive it? Think deeply. Just as Guru loves all, you too must extend your love to all.
Does love require money? Does it need knowledge, education, position, or authority? What does it truly need? It needs only a heart, a sincere heart. Who are you? A human being, one who possesses a heart. Then what must a human do? One must give love. What does a mother expect from you? What does a wife expect? What does a child, a friend, a neighbor, or a leader expect from you? And what do you expect from others? The answer is love, only love.
With the vision of creating a world founded on love, தெய்வீகம் (UPF, Thirumoorththi Hills) stands as a place where an empire of love is being shaped. Therefore, the ashram trustees and well-wishers have designed a noble path. In life, we engage in many activities. We serve our nation, our homes, and many places across the world. Yet, even then, we always set aside a portion for our own home. In the same way, for this divine space, which is to become the Universal mother-home of the world, we must express the virtue of giving. Charity is a natural quality of being human; it is dharma.
No matter how much one earns in a day, one can set aside even a single rupee a day as an offering of dharma. With that simple act, one affirms: “I offer this for the welfare of the world, for the protection of peace, and for the creation of Sathya Yuga.” Those who say and then act are good. But those who act without even speaking are greater. You must become those who act quietly, without seeking recognition.
Therefore, take part in this Holy Penance that has been created for you. With a full heart and deep feeling, receive the blessings that flow here. As you come to this ashram, open your heart and express your thoughts. Whatever intention you carry within, let it be fulfilled exactly as you envision it. The power of thought is immense. If we begin to speak fully about the power of thought, even hours would not be enough.
So hold firm to your thoughts, especially good thoughts. Noble thoughts will not only protect you, but they will also safeguard your lineage for generations to come. They will extend their protection to the entire world. Therefore, live with good thoughts, speak good words, perform good actions and above all, let everything be filled with love.
