Santhosam Podcast: Guiding Light of Spiritual Wisdom

Why do we struggle to Trust God? | கடவுளை நம்புவதில் நமக்கு ஏன் தடுமாற்றம் ஏற்படுகிறது?

Santhosam Season 8 Episode 7

Gurumahan, in 8th Velvi (1998), explains the nature of God and ways to become God's living instrument.

If you ask whether you truly trust God, the honest answer is not completely! Those who have full faith in God have the strength to accept that whatever happens in this world is for the greater good. O Lord seated before me! You are the one creating Sathya Yuga! You hold unshakable faith in God and, at the same time, unwavering faith in the Guru. The path shown by the Guru is the path laid down by God Himself.
Whenever truth and dharma decline, weaken, or fade, God chooses worthy individuals and manifests truth, dharma, justice, honesty, and discipline through them. In this Kali Yuga, God does not wish to manifest through a single physical form. Those who trust the Guru who reflects God’s will and expresses His divine intent and those who live according to dharmic principles that protect humanity, become the channels through which divine power continues to manifest. God’s power will not appear only here; it will continue to manifest across the entire world. Therefore, God exists. How does God exist? Once God existed as One; now God exists as Everything. God sees as all, abides as all, and sits as every being. Those who realize this truth become Gurus, enlightened masters, wisdom teachers. Through them, this divine truth continues to reveal itself. God expresses Himself through love, strength, joy, and peace. Therefore, the future will be God’s time. Those who trust God will never be abandoned. What is the nature of God? God is everything. God lives within every human being. Because people forgot this truth, they wander everywhere saying, “God is not here, not there, God does not exist anywhere.” God is not absent. God does not exist in form alone; He transcends form and resides within. You come to see the Guru, yet you stand only at the doorway.
Can you see Him from there? No. Where must you go? You must enter GnanaPeedam (ஞான பீடம் at Thirumoorthi Hills). Only then can you see the Guru. In the same way, only when you turn inward can you experience God. That Supreme Being constantly watches over each one of you. The moment you turn your mind toward Him, you receive His power, His love, His compassion, and all forms of divine abundance. We need to rebuild human society with faith in God, the Self. People should fully receive God’s love. That is why, in every holy Velvi (penance), believers are brought together through a clear and divine plan. Now, in the eighth Velvi, that plan has reached its completion. The purpose for which all the Velvis were started has found its fulfillment in this eighth Velvi.
