Santhosam Podcast: Guiding Light of Spiritual Wisdom
4th VELVI, 1994: Why does Guru Mahan call upon divine mothers to offer their children as instruments for transforming society? சமூகத்தை மாற்றுவதற்கான கருவிகளாக தங்கள் குழந்தைகளை அர்ப்பணிக்க, தெய்வீகத் தாய்மார்களை குருமகான் ஏன் அழைக்கிறார்?
Why should I meditate inside this pyramid? In ancient times, great rishis, saints, and prophets practiced profound austerities in remote, silent places far away from human disturbance. From that inner discipline arose noble teachings for humanity.
What are these “good teachings”? Ultimately, it is just one thing: a good thought. If a human being develops a noble thought, everything else that is negative naturally falls away.
When a pure thought arises in the mind, qualities like peace, harmony, patience, tolerance, and the spirit of sacrifice arise effortlessly. That is why we say: cultivate noble thoughts. For the world to function harmoniously, everyone must become a person of good thoughts.
If even ten people in a village possess such noble thinking, the entire village will transform.
Therefore, mothers who have given birth to these divine children of courage and wisdom—send me a few. I will not only transform this Bharata Bhoomi but the entire world into a divine realm.
Long ago, the one whom I accepted mentally as my Guru—Swami Vivekananda—asked for a hundred men and women of selfless courage and clarity. “Send them to me,” he said, “and I will uplift the world.”
To fulfill those words, after completing this fire-sacrifice (agni-velvi), I aim to bring peace and harmony not only to this earthly world but beyond.
There are not just the worlds we commonly imagine—this physical world, the other world, heaven—but seven realms in total, culminating in the realm of Truth (Satya Loka).
It is said that through this practice, one can send waves of thought across all these worlds and even to the vast expanse of the cosmos.
Let Wisdom Flourish!
Let Peace Prevail!
Let us protect Mother earth!
Let us protect the Universe!
