Kundalini Initiation: The Awakening Touch of Truth | குண்டலினி உபதேசம்: சத்தியப் பொருளைக் காட்டிக் கொடுக்கின்ற உபதேசம்!
When your inner energy awakens, the whole universe responds. If you connect with your true source, even the foundation of creation stirs. This is told in a tamil song – ‘நான் அசைந்தால் அசையும் அகிலம் எல்லாம்’. Such great power lies within you. Recognize that the divine energy of the universe is already inside you. Such supreme power belongs to the human being. Other living beings and ordinary people cannot realize this. That is why you are the wise ones. Only the wise can truly understand this within them.
The Guru, initiates this energy through his touch — the Kundalini — and giving initiation (upadesam), causes even the root energy to tremble. He then guides that power upward through the central channel (the Sushumna Nadi), And leads the force that moves the entire universe back to its source — the stillness of pure being. The Guru leads the initiated soul to a state beyond rebirth.
In today’s world, no hidden knowledge will come just by pointing at it. It won’t awaken through mere words. True initiation is through direct transmission —That is what the Guru does through this sacred touch of Upadesam. Until now, our scriptures — the Śruti, Vedas, and Shastras — have all spoken about the Truth, but they have not shown it through direct experience. The Vedas speak deeply about the Self:
‘This is the Atman (Self),’
‘Brahman is that which lies beyond waking, dreaming, and deep sleep,’
‘I am Brahman’ (Aham Brahmasmi),
‘You are That’ (Tat Tvam Asi),
‘Pure Consciousness is Brahman’ (Prajñānam Brahma)
But here, it is not just said — it is directly experienced. To realize this Truth is to bring an end to the cycle of birth.
