Thirumandhiram 3rd line

Eyes are there but does not see, ears are there, but does not hear, mouth is there, but does not speak. When does this happen? Everyone is in this state of samadhi during Sleep. But during sleep, we are unconscious. This Samadhi is conscious sleep, is a state of awareness.

Eyes are open, but do not see. For example, you will be thinking about something, eyes will be open, ears are open. Even if someone comes near us, we do not know.

In another case, we might be doing some calculation, during that time our concentration is fully on the pen, book. We will be completely merged in the task. Even if someone stands near us, we cannot identify. Only after sometime we will recognize their presence. Eyes are there, but since we were merged in the task , we would not have seen him even through the corner of our eyes. Ears are there, but we would not have heard even the sound of them walking towards us. When does this happen?

Thirumandhiram 1st line say,

"கோணா மனதை குறிகொண்டு கீழ்கட்டி",

What is the nature of this mind? Can it be still? Thirumoolar says "still mind".  Nature of the Mind is always to waver around. He says don't keep the wavering mind, place the still mind in the  mooladhara meaning the root point- base of the spine, this is the Life force center on the seat of Kundalini Shakthi.

In the second stage of Kundalini initiation offered at UPF, we focus our mind on mooladhara and observe the divine vibration.

2nd Line of Thirumandiram says, "வீணாத்தண் டூடே வெளியுறத் தானோக்கிக்", meaning raise the life force through the spine.

Gurumahan quotes:

In the thirumandhiram, many years ago, Mahan Thirumular explains that one has to take the still mind with strong willed Life force from mooladhara  through the spinal chord, and reach the top eye the sahasrara.

4th line of Thirumandhiram explains that one can increase thier life time, when the 5 senses usage is reduced.

Gurumahan explains that  the consequence of using  5 senses everyday.

For example we have a battery charger. It provides energy for 5 lights. Let's say if all 5 lights are used, the battery charger supports for 100 hours. Here we can reduce the usage  less than 100 hrs or increase more than 100hrs .how?
In the place of 5 lights, if we use 10 lights, the lifetime charger reduces from 100 hours to 50 hours.

Instead of 5 lights, when usages drops to 3 lights, then the usages hours will naturally increase.

Similarly when we use our energy through 5 senses, we will have a lifetime of 100 years. If we use more energy, our lifetime will be reduced from 100years. But if we slowly limit our usage of five senses, our lifetime will increase.

Therefore thirumoolar in 4th line of this thirumandiram says that this practice of turning the "still mind" inwards and raising the kundalini shakthi  through the spine to the sahasrara will increase the lifetime of a person.

The entire thirumandhiram is the guide book of Kundalini Yogam.

Therefore  Pratyahara explains how to turn the mind that travels through 5 senses inward? What should the Still Mind focus on while traveling through the spine?

While observing one attains the state of consciousness where eyes exist, but one does not see, e
