To perform any action, even if the external environment is well set, one should seek the blessings of these three. First, Our mother and next our father, who always wish well for us. Third is the Guru who want their disciple to reach the elevated state they themselves have attained. The Guru, with a noble intention, believes that the disciple’s growth is their own growth. The Guru’s primary aim, at any place, at any time, and in any circumstance, is to uplift the disciple who has surrendered to Him. Thus, the Guru is there only for the disciple. Therefore, one should seek the blessings of these three noble beings.

The three are compared to the sides of a triangle, with the person being a dot at the centre of the triangle, and their duty is to protect and elevate this individual. This triangle with a dot inside represents the symbol of UPF (Universal Peace Foundation). Therefore, one should remain loving towards the mother, father, and Guru, and should never show or cause any hatred.

The Vedas in Shanthi lesson teach that  both the teacher and the student should receive blessings and well-being through the complete divine vision of the all-powerful God. We pray that there be good thoughts and good harmony between us always.

Omnipotent Parabrahman, Lord, we should always live in Your remembrance. Together, the student and teacher should unite and show the world the path of righteousness. Together, we should always walk the path of virtue. Virtue protects those who uphold it. Those who follow the path of righteousness will be safeguarded by it. Righteousness will always protect you. Thus, spiritual discipline is the means to follow such righteousness.
